April 7th- Mid-Pen Adventures

Ella went to Mid-Pen (the school where I teach) today. I needed to sign my contract to teach for next year and I told my Head of School that he needed some extra chaos. Ella was great and the kids were awesome. Watching teen boys and a baby was pretty cute. But it was a nice ego boost for me too, lots of hugs and "when are you coming back?"

One of my homeroom kids is a HUGE Ravens fan, and though I knew I could not take her to school in her Ravens outfit I knew that Andrew needed a picture. He loved it and I have a feeling a few other team outfits are on the way because of it. 

Second shot is the carseat, look how tall she has gotten. Based on the very scientific bathroom scale (I step on, weigh myself, get handed Ella, do math) method, she is about 11 pounds. !!!!!!!!! I am def getting some upper body strength.

April 6th - Eyelashes

April 5th- Meeting Fred

Ella meets Fred. 

Boy oh boy did these two like each other. Ella smiled and made all sorts of fun faces for Fred, it was so cute. 

April 4th- Playmat Fun

It is amazing what she has started to see. Ella will look you deep in the eyes and you know she wants to tell you meaningful things. 

The playmat is fun. Beaker is scared to death of it but Ella loves it. She reaches for the hanging animals.

Yes I am WAY behind in Ella Emails. It was a rough sleeping week last week. 

Wednesday April 2

After a day out Tuesday Ella decided that the middle of the night is the time for a party! She was awake from 1-4. For part of it she is happy and likes too look at whatever lights there are to amuse her. I just do my best to talk to her and not fall asleep. Wednesday as a result she slept the entire day. She woke up to eat every few hours, but fell right back to sleep. 

April 1st- Pretty in Purple

Pretty in Purple. Our girl slept through the errands yesterday like a good girl. But she looked great doing it.
