October 13th- Happy Birthday Daddy

Tonight we had a birthday party for Matt.  Kate made the traditional angel food cake with special frosting, but we dyed it black to make it into a record. It was a music/Beatles themed party. Tricia and Carl and Doug video chatted in to join in the singing.

October 12th Bonus post

Ella was extra cute this weekend and we took lots of pictures. She also does not seem to mind anything on her head, making accessories way more fun.

October 12th- Watch out Beaker she's on the move.

Ella has really started to move. She can get to point A to point B quickly (but still not in a straight line.)  Beaker has not quite got this down yet and his tail as well as his toys are in great danger.

October 11th- Adventures with Daddy

Today we celebrated Matt's birthday with Glenn and Erin. We did a little local wine tasting and picnicking in Cupertino. We all had a great time.

October 10th- I love rice!

Watching Ella eat is really funny. New tastes and textures everyday. Sometimes she makes these shocked faces and you think she doesn't like something only to have her open her mouth wide again and grunt at you for more. Tonight was an adventure in eating rice. She like it alot.

October 9th- California Academy of Sciences

Today I had the day off because of Student/Parent/Teacher conferences. So Kate, Patrick, Ella and I went into SF to spend the afternoon at the Academy of Sciences. It was Ella's first time there. We all had a wonderful time. Ella really enjoyed the Rainforest butterflies and the aquarium.

 We did a little posing for the Academy photographer. 

October 8th- Ice Cream Cones

Ella and I ran some errands today. After buying some gifts we decided we needed an ice cream. It was Ella's first ice cream cone. Well it was Mommy's cone but shared. Good for both of us. Ella really did love it and kept grunting for more.

Turns out she likes eating her dress just as much.....
