April 30th- YaYa's Country Club

It was a hot day today. In the 80's. Ella had a grand time at YaYa's playing in the pool, hanging out in the grass with her own personal  umbrella. When I picked her up she was in her own lounge chair eating fruit. Quite a day for Miss Ella.

April 29th- Coyote Point

The coyote point children's museum was a hit!  Ella's favorite exhibits so far are the vacuum tube that shoots foam pieces to the ceiling, the steel drum music stands, and the AWESOME otter aquarium where the otters swim right by your face!  Never too young for science???

April 28th- Dancing Machine

April 27th-Naked Giraffe Riding

It was hot today and Ella had to do some Mother's Day art so we could get it in the mail. After the art there was no getting her back into her clothes. So we just played in the diaper. She is tall enough now that she can get on and off her rocking giraffe alone. 

April 26th- Playing with Helen and Matt

We went to Japantown in SF for dinner with Helen and Matt tonight. The best part my Daddy wearing Ella's backpack,

April 25th- Piggy Bank

Kat and Pat got Ella a piggy bank when she was born. Today Ella found a penny on the floor and it seemed like a great way to introduce her piggy bank. We took it into her room and put it into her piggy bank. She LOVED it. Matt brought her a bunch more pennies and she put each one in. 

April 24th- Ice Cream

We had dinner out tonight and Ice Cream afterwards. Ella equally liked Daddy's Strawberry and Mommy's Chocolate Peanut Butter. 

April 23rd- Passed Out

Passed out! Ella fell asleep in the car today. This often happens when I pick her up from Nitsa or Gigi. The difference today was the hand in the cup and the loss of one shoe. She slept for 3 hours so I guess it was a big morning. 

April 21th- BUBBLES

When you leave the bubble solution out overnight it will make really sticky bubbles that do not pop easy. The floated forever too. It was a lot of fun. 

April 19th- I want Daddy's Beer

Ella really really wanted Matt's beer this afternoon. I have no clue where this came from but it was a little ridiculous. She got really mad, cried and was broken hearted. Luckily Dad found some cherrios and everything was okay again. 

April 18th- Cupcake Eating

Today we went to Liam's 1st birthday. It was a great party and there were cupcakes!! Ella spent most of the time chasing the big kids. It was really cute. 

April 17th- Prom Planning

I had a planning meeting at the location for Prom today. Ella came with me. She was great help. But she was in love with the ocean view and kept running back to the edge of the deck to sit down and watch the waves.

April 16th- Reading

Ella likes to do whatever you are doing. She wants to sit like you are sitting, walk where you go. Today I was reading in the chair while she was playing. She grabbed her book, got into the chair and did the same. She is so cute.

April 15th - Pondering the Deep Blue Sea

Warm sun - big breeze and then there is sand wind water waves - all new all over again.

April 14th- Coloring with GIgi

Gigi has gotten into the arts with Ella. Stickers and coloring. Ella loves it. She still tries to eat the crayons sometimes but what can you do??

April 13th- Pushing the Grocery Cart

Trader Joes' have mini shopping carts for the kids. They are still a little big for Ella but we still had fun pushing it through the store. 

April 12th- I love

I love these food pictures. It kills me how messy she can get in just a few bites. :) 

April 11th- Strawberry Lover

We went to a fruit stand where you can pick your own strawberries. Rachel took real camera pictures and I will add them when I get them from her. But she really loved the whole thing. 

April 10th- Aquarium and First Hair Cut

We were still in San Diego this morning and decided that it would be a fun adventure to take a trip to the aquarium. Reeve had been many times before but it was Ella's first time since she was about 4 months old. She LOVED it!!

We went to have hamburgers for lunch afterwards. 

The back of Ella's hair is the only part that has been growing. It has turned into a full blown mullet at this point. There have been quite a few comments about it this week. Jean and Gigi were saying that they thought a little trim would be good. I rejected it at first but today we pulled into the parking lot where we were meeting Sarah and Chris and Charlotte for a walk and tada! a kids hairstyle store. I took a few deep breaths and Ella got a trim. She did real well. I am really proud and it is really cute.
