Ella Music - you like instruments - jingling the bells/playing at playing the violin - you do more music then you sing music right now. You still sing a word in a song with ocassionally a phrase of mumbled humming - and you like listening to new songs - but I suspect you are silently singing and not yet ready for audiences.
Your vocabulary continues to grow by leaps and bounds and you are starting to put words to together.

Not Yet
You told me after we whisked over to the beach just to check on the erosion - and we couldn't walk the beach because the tide was too high and when I said 'let's go' you answered 'not yet' - so we sat on the rocks together and watched the fierce waves spray against the rocks and swallow up the beach - you are an ocean baby! And good company in sharing the beauty of awesome moments. You were so right that we shouldn't have left the beach 'yet'.

You LOVE Peppa the Pig - a very proper British Cartoon that your Mom allows you to see a little bit on screens (phones and tablets) You watched it while you flew across the country and really like the 5 minute snippets of Peppa and her brother George and Mommy Pig and Pappa Pig! I laugh when you laugh at the jokes in the show!

| And the five year drought in CA began to lessen just a bit - the month was cool and wet. You had such a fun time dressing up in warm clothes and stomping through puddles. |

| Yaya helped you cook and ice a cake for Mommy's birthday - you of course had to taste test it first! SPRINKLES!!! You sing 'Happy to You' quite sweetly and are pretty good at candle blowing! |

| You don't get to watch much TV/screen time - but this is you lining up all your friends and telling us you'd like to watch some Peppa Cartoons - you spend quite a bit of time organizing baby dolls and stuffed animals and things in lines and bags and strollers - you seem to be organizing your posse! |

| Yvette is a Chinese student living with Gigi and she really likes you - she brought you back a custom made Chinese dress when she returned back from visiting her parents in China - its quite a grand dress so your Mommy has put it away for important occasion - when you saw this picture a week or so after it had been taken - you turned to me and with big hand gestures starting saying I I I I iiiiI I I I I iii (that's what you say when the thoughts in your head are too complex for the fewer words your mouth can say) But we all knew you were telling us that your Mommy took the dress and you wanted it back!!! |
