February 28th- Nana Arrives

Nana arrived today from Florida. She flew all the way across the country to meet her newest grandchild and to help Matt and I out for a few days. It was a grand meeting.

Her Daddy is pretty in love with her too.

February 27th- Day 2

After a long first day of life we are all trying to catch up on a little sleep. Ella is winning on that prize, she is a great eater and sleeper. Happy in everyone's arms. They have made me put her down a few times, but she is so cute that doesn't last long.

February 26th 2014- Welcome to the World

At 12:17am we welcomed Ella Katherine Longnecker into the world. Her arrival was not quite as Mommy and Daddy had planned but she is healthy and happy. 8 lbs. 5.4 oz and 20"

When you are born in the first 17 mins of the day your first day of life is really long. So after sleeping in Mommy's and Daddy's arms most of what was left of the night when we got settled Ella had a big day in front of her.
