February 26th 2014- Welcome to the World

At 12:17am we welcomed Ella Katherine Longnecker into the world. Her arrival was not quite as Mommy and Daddy had planned but she is healthy and happy. 8 lbs. 5.4 oz and 20"

When you are born in the first 17 mins of the day your first day of life is really long. So after sleeping in Mommy's and Daddy's arms most of what was left of the night when we got settled Ella had a big day in front of her.

(Uncle Ross wins the prize for most heroic visit. It was raining lots today 

and it took Ross over 3 hours to get from San Francisco to the hospital.)
