Today was a day of road trips. We drove from Monterey to San Mateo to pick up Doug. Unloaded and reloaded the car and headed off to Tahoe. Ella was once again a super star. We stopped for lunch and gave her a little break. When we got to Donner Pass the sky was black and the it started pouring down rain. It was raining so hard that we decided to get off the freeway. We went to a cute little coffee shop called Wild Cherries in Truckee. There was thunder and lightening. When the rain settled down we continued onto the rental house. We had a nice dinner with Ella attempting to eat some bread.
The real event of the day was that Ella is pretty much sitting up on her own!!! We have been propping her up with pillows but today she can do it all by herself for many mins at a time.
