Since Ella got her cast off we have entered a new world of climbing. I admit sometimes I wish for the cast back. Ella climbs on to ANYTHING she can. She will even use you as a step if needed. She has been climbing on the coffee table even before the cast came off but now she is up there is a flash. She climbed on to the sofa all by herself for the first time today. She will try to climb the stove, pulling up on the door handle and standing on the warming drawer handle. ( The kitchen is now often closed off and cooking has taken on a new sense of adventure for Mommy.) She tried to climb a dining room chair this weekend but I missed that. What she really likes to do now is climb into her cart. She will sit there for a little while and wait for someone to give her a ride, but if none is given it becomes a new place to stand up. The real problem of all this climbing is that she hasn't mastered getting down yet.
